The Central Registration System (MERSIS) is a platform that stores, manages, and regulates the registry information of commercial enterprises and companies in Turkey in a digital environment. Users can access the system and perform their transactions via the e-Government Gateway, a MERSIS account, electronic signature (e-signature), or mobile signature. However, as of April 14, 2025, certain changes will be made regarding access to MERSIS.

What are the Changes?

As of April 14, 2025, access to the MERSIS system via the e-Government Gateway will only be possible through an electronic signature (e-signature) or mobile signature. The option to log in using a MERSIS user account will be removed.

Foreign users registered with a passport number will be able to continue using their existing login methods. There will be no change for these users.

What Should Company Representatives Do to Use MERSIS?

Company representatives who wish to perform transactions through the MERSIS system must obtain an e-signature or mobile signature and log in using one of these methods. This step is crucial for ensuring both user security and the accuracy and integrity of transactions.

How Will Authorization Procedures Be Carried Out?

In the MERSIS system, company owners or representatives may authorize others to act on their behalf. This can be done through the “Authorization Procedures” section within the system, where specific permissions can be granted to third parties, such as initiating changes and submitting transactions for approval.

Authorization procedures also require logging in through the e-Government Gateway using an e-signature or mobile signature. This process will remain unchanged after April 14, 2025. Individuals who are granted authorization will be able to carry out transactions after accepting the authorization through the system.

It is important for companies and all relevant users to obtain an e-signature or mobile signature prior to the specified date to ensure that their transactions within the system continue without interruption.
